Science Project Support Packages are awarded in recognition of the teacher's time spent outside normal classroom hours in assisting students engaged in project-based learning.

Per Science Project Support Package, you must have provided a minimum of 3 hours, outside normal classroom hours, of direction, guidance and assistance to students developing science projects entered in The 2012 Synopsys Championship.

Per Science Project Support Package, you must have provided a minimum of 2 hours, outside normal classroom hours, of direction, guidance and assistance to students developing science projects to be entered in your school's science-o-rama!

Your time spent outside normal classroom hours must be certified either by the student(s) you are working with, a parent, a colleague, or a school administrator-it doesn't matter-so long as they either participated in the work or observed you working with the student(s)

To process your Science Project Support Package, please follow these steps:

Step 1.	Download and print the cover page and as many log page forms as you need. Complete a separate log page form for each project. See an example log page form .
Step 2.	Over the course of the school year, record the outside-the-classroom time you spent, along with the date, the signature of the person certifying the time and his/her title.
Step 3.	Compile the pages and fill out the cover page.
Step 4.	Return the entire Verification Form Booklet before April 1, 2012 or within 10 days of your science-o-rama! to:

Step 5.	Science Project Supports will be processed and checks mailed during May.
