The Synopsys Silicon Valley Science & Technology Outreach Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1999, the Foundation supports K-12 teachers and students engaged in project-based learning in select California schools and select schools affiliated with regional offices of Synopsys, Inc. In addition to serving as the major sponsor of the Synopsys Championship, Foundation programs and events include sciencepalooza!, science-o-rama!, The Advanced Science Research Facility, Advanced Science Research Classes, and the Synopsys Outreach Foundation SuperSchool.
